I'm sure I've just missed something, but when an email failed, normally due to an incorrect email address, we don't receive any sort of failure notice. Have a missed a setting somewhere?

Hi there,
Are you referring to sending out emails to your customers via your Zencart admin ?
A little more information would certainly help.
When a customer places an order, it sends them an order confirmation / invoice. Well if their email address is incorrect then it just vanishes into thin air. We don't get any sort of "delivery failure" notification, like you would if you sent from a standard email program. Same thing happens when we send our newsletters etc.
Does that make sense? I'm horrible at explaining myself.
Thanks, Colleen

It may depend on the customer's email server setup. I have mine set up to send mail sent to addresses that don't exist on that domain to what Spam Assassin calls 'black hole'. No message is returned to the sender.
