FedEx not showing as option on checkout

I posted this in the Paypal Express support thread but maybe it should be here as a shipping/payment problem.

I just changed from Paypal Standard IPN to Paypal Express. When I place an order through the Paypal option and on returning to the website, where you select shipping method; Walk-In, UPS, and USPS show with select buttons and calculated shipping amounts but the FedEx option doesn't show any shipping amount or way to select it even if there was an amount.

So, I upgraded to Website Payments Pro and checkout with credit card on site works fine by showing all shipping options but if I place the order with "I have a Paypal account" button and process through Paypal it's back to no FedEx showing option as explained above.

What's the quirk and what's the fix? Any ideas

My Express settings are:
Payment Zone
--none--

Express Checkout Shortcut Button
On

Set Order Status
Processing [2]

Set Unpaid Order Status
Pending [1]

Set Refund Order Status
Pending [1]

Express Checkout: Require Confirmed Address
Yes

Express Checkout: Select Cheapest Shipping Automatically

I can't seem to find this answer anyplace and I can't believe someone else hasn't experienced this. It also seems odd that the buyer gets taken to Paypal with a subtotal only to get sent back to the site to add the shipping, after agreeing to pay what seems to be the total order amount? I would be tempted to abandon the order at this point especially because my favorite shipping option doesn't show a price or the ability to select it.

If it is the FedEx add-on that is causing this, the one that I am using is "FedEx by Numinix"

I suspect something else.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I see this was moved, so whoever moved it must think it is the FedEx add-on problem and not Express Pay Module?

If you turn on the Check/Money Order moneyorder Payment Module ... does FedEx show up?

What is the Ship From?

What is the Ship To?

What is the weight?

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

Dont know if you all know this... FedEx is in the process of changing from a API system to a Webservices system. I noticed that my ground calculation was not showing up, i called them and i was informed that the had changed my meter to webservices and that was the reason, Zencart is getting confused by the information being returned.

The a moving accounts over ata 5% rate untill all account habe to be on the new system by this time next year. unless a patch or new mod is writen we will not have use of FedEx.

I am in the process of trying another FedEx option by Numinix - "Fed-Ex Web Services Shipping". I found out the same thing as Flux1231 did before I saw the responses here. If that doesn't work I'll try Ajeh's suggestion. In either case I'll report back as I am in the process of upgrading another site.

can you let us know if it worked for you....... I had fedex change my meter back but this will only be good for about a year...
