I recently cancelled my LinkPoint / FirstData account and disabled its module under "Payment Modules". The only one that is enabled is "PayPal Express Checkout". I just read the forums and figured I should have removed the module instead of disabling it. At that point I just decided to disable it instead of removing so that it keeps my store # and other settings in the module in case I need to go back and refer to that info. I am going to go ahead and remove the account as suggested in other forum posts. I do have a question though:

When I disabled the module I actually verified that the CC fields are no longer displayed on the payment step of the checkout wizard. However, I received two orders that show "linkpoint_api" on the orders list. I don't understand how the customers were able to place those orders. I just created a brand new account and tried to check out with a product in my shopping cart, it doesn't give me an option to check out via LinkPoint and it takes me directly to PayPal when I clicked on "Confirm Order". Does anybody know how were my customers able to check out via LinkPoint?
