blank page adding items to shopping cart or checking out

ok I read that, and from that error report, found that the file had blank spaces. The problem is, I am not sure if im looking at the right error report or how to generate one. I fixed the spaces refered to on that particualr one, but I still get the blank page when putting items into my shopping cart.

1. delete all error logs
2. then go to product and add to cart
3. then report back with new error log

I fixed the spaces on line three of the file in question, but it still doesn't work. I had copied the folder in extra definitions and renamed it from classic, to bloomingvinedesign. So there are two separate folders there. could this be the problem? This is how my problems started though, when I tried to delete the new template folders I made. I broke the whole site I guess the restore didn't remove them, just copied over everything that was there.

Find an original folder from zen cart you downloaded and use an ftp program to load over this .php file...

Do you have winmerge program...
Use this to compare an original copy and the one on your working site..

Thank You So Much! The problem is solved. I kept a hard copy of the original download and all of my add-ons, and looked for the file that was giving the error. The file was not where it was supposed to be, and once I renamed it with the extension old, in order to quickly replace it if it happened to be crucial, everything worked just fine.

You can tell where therror originiates from by the file location given after the words output in the error log. (your error log is located in cache on your hosted site). Hope this helps someone.

Awe, you are most welcome..
Somehow a misplaced .php was placed in this folder which caused the error log to fire and create a blank page...

Please delete it permanently because it is not suppose to be there
