    help question Home Page Layout

    Hi everyone!
I am helping someone customize a zen cart website with a Zen Flavor template. I found some comments on how to move things around on a page in the index pages but when I look at the coding on each of the pages, it didn't seem to match what I wanted to do.
The website I am working on is http://madamecorzettes.com.
What I am trying to do is to take the section under the header where it has text and add a border of images. Specifically, it would be a column of photos on the left and right and then the text in the middle. Then I would like to have another wide banner below the text.
I didn't see a defined area in the files where I could add or move banners around and I know that there tends to be multiple files that affect the home page so I don't know if maybe I am missing something.
The alternative that I am considering is creating a single graphic banner with image on the left and right and text in the middle but that won't help too much with SEO.
    Thanks for any input!
    Vanessa

    Edit the includes/languages/english/html_includes/your-customtemplate-directory/define_main_page.php file.

    Thanks,

    Anne

That particular file has the following information:

    ##############################_
<a href="http://www.lulu.com/content/466605"><img src="images/large/e-start-book.gif" alt="get your manual today" title="Have you got yours yet? Join the 1000’s of Zen Cart users that have bought the only comprehensive owners manual !" /></a>

<p>This content is located in the file at: <code> /languages/english/html_includes/classic/define_main_page.php</code></p>

<p>You can quickly edit this content via Admin->Tools->Define Pages Editor, and select define_main_page from the pulldown.</p>

    <p><strong>NOTE: Always backup the files in<code> /languages/english/html_includes/your_template</code></strong></p>
    ##############################

There was no directory/folder for the custom template either.
I tried looking in the following files for where I could move things around but didn't see anything in relation to banners:
    tpl_index_default.php
    tpl_main_page.php
    tpl_index_categories.php

    Thanks!

Does anyone know where else the file might be?

There's no "where else" - the file can only work in the location described, either the default version or custom template version.

Have you contacted the template author for help?

    Thanks,

    From view source:
<!-- hsyong hide sidebars on home page -->
This is one of the templates where the designer has severely modified what is able to be done, in some cases by deleting code instead of setting flags as standard practice suggests.

So it sounds like unless I want to get into recreating the page from scratch, that I should probably just create the images with text.
    Thanks!

Yes, but he just directed me to the file directories. That didn't help!
