Boxes Turned Black

Hi!

In some of my boxes on my site, the input fields turn black when you put your cursor in them to type..

Search Box
Contact Box
Manufacturer Box

My customers are telling me this is happening, but I can't replicate it on my computers here. they are fine here.

How do I make them not turn black?

Find and change color of this rule in your stylesheet

input:focus, select:focus, textarea:focus {
	background: #000000;

I made that change and it modifies active boxes (where cursor is) to be the color I chose.
However, what I want is to change the way all boxes look without them being clicked on.

for instance, when a page loads with an input box, I want all the borders of the boxes to be this color (#9ba038) because the default color does't show on my screen so people don't know to type in the box.

Please help. Thank you
