how to customize header with html code???

Version 1.3.08
i have managed to change my header logo bt uploading the new image to the FTP. but i don't know which file i need to edit the actual html coding???

i have created image maps for the tabs within the header image. i want to be able to edit with the html code i have created.
i hope that makes sense? any help appreciated!

I think CSS image maps are easier. There's an example here in post #8: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150835

Basically, you're defining the map area names in tpl_header.php, then defining the size and location of the map elements in the stylesheet.

thank you. for some reason my template doesn't have the tpl_header.php in the specified location. i only see the footer file?

If it isn't in includes/templates/YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE/common/ then it must be using the one in includes/templates/template_default/common/. Make a copy of it and put it where it should be, then customize the copy.

If you don't have /includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_header.php, copy it from /includes/templates/template_default/common/tpl_header.php.
