Default editing .htaccess to allow tff and woff ?

Hello, I have been getting this server error:

    Code:
[Fri Apr 15 12:00:16 2011] [error] [client 97.113.70.35] File does not exist: /home/USER/public_html/403.shtml, referer: http://wholesaleforms.com/includes/t...stylesheet.css
[Fri Apr 15 12:00:16 2011] [error] [client 97.113.70.35] client denied by server configuration: /home/USER/public_html/includes/templates/WSF_template/css/Action_Man-webfont.woff, referer: http://wholesaleforms.com/includes/t...stylesheet.css
[Fri Apr 15 12:00:12 2011] [error] [client 97.113.70.35] File does not exist: /home/USER/public_html/403.shtml, referer: http://wholesaleforms.com/includes/t...stylesheet.css
[Fri Apr 15 12:00:12 2011] [error] [client 97.113.70.35] client denied by server configuration: /home/USERl/public_html/includes/templates/OUR_template/css/Action_Man-webfont.ttf, referer: http://wholesaleforms.com/includes/t...stylesheet.css
I fixed it by editing includes/.htaccess and adding tff and woff to the list of accepted file extensions. Is this a safe practice?

    Thanks.

If those are file types you need for something specific on your site to work, then allowing those types is what you need to do.
