Free Shipping Options Question

What I did was clicked "remove" to turn it off. Should I just turn off the free shipping in it?

Did you turn off the module ... Order Total ... Shipping ot_shipping ... or did you just turn off the Free Shipping setting in it?

The Order Totals for Shipping ot_shipping is two part ...

It's first purpose is to hold the shipping on the Orders ...

The second purpose is to allow for Free Shipping on Orders over $XX for either National, International or Both ...

I cannot think of a time to really remove this, unless you never ship anything ...

I would install it and the default settings have the Free Shipping over $XX.XX disabled ...

So even though I disable the Free shipping over xx.xx, it will still allow free shipping? We offer free shipping so I want to make sure that doesn't get messed up.

What are the conditions for when you customers should get Free Shipping?

And when qualified, do you want this as the the only shipping or as an Option for Free Shipping?

The conditions for free shipping is:

Orders > $60

We want the other options to also show in case they want to select another shipping message (Like upgrade to Priority Mail).

Then what you should use is the Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module and set the Total >= 60.00 ... this will then allow the regular shipping methods to show and when the Order is $60.00 the Free Shipping Options will show in addition to regular shipping methods ...

So go to the Modules ... Order Total ... Shipping ot_shipping and disable the Free Shipping on it ...

Then go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and install the Free Shipping Options freeoptions and set the Total >= 60.00 ... and leave all other conditional settings blank ...
