Default Authorize.net (SIM) Issue Error 97

I have installed and configured authorize.net on my Zencart. When a customer tries to make a purchase, there are never asked for their credit card information. They follow the checkout process and when asked to confirm their order, they get the following error:

    The following errors have occurred.
    (97) This transaction cannot be accepted.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I use the latest version of Zencart and paypal.

Error 97 means the calculated SIM fingerprint has expired, and as such the system is refusing to proceed as a security precaution.

This suggests that your store isn't properly producing the x_fp_timestamp parameter to be submitted to authorize.net. Proof of this will be found in your SIM logs if you have debug logging enabled in the module.
What's unique about your store's configuration that might cause date/time calculations to be odd? Is it a US store hosted on a US server set to a US timezone using a current (5.2 or better 5.3+) version of PHP hosted with a traditional hosting company using a traditional server configuration?

It is a server that was from Germany, but is now housed in the U.S. (OH), I am in Michigan. My web administrator reset the time, but I am still getting the error. Not sure what to do now.

    Thanks for the reply!

The very simplest way is to switch to AIM instead of SIM, since AIM doesn't require all sorts of fancy handshaking and fingerprinting to prove authenticity of a transaction done someplace else like SIM does.

Switching to AIM solved the issues.

Thanks a million for your help.
