    Default Why can't I get rid of this file?

    I did not like my old banner. I located it in /public_html/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images/hd.jpg. Then I made a new banner and I saved it on my pc as hd.jpg. Next I uploaded it to /public_html/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images/...the same place the old one was in. When I reloaded my website the new header was there. Yippee. But, when I go to /public_html/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images/hd.jpg in my file manager and open this file it turns out to be the old header.
    How can this be?
    I did a search for hd.jpg and there is only this ONE in my file manager.

    Ok, lets say the problem stated above is not important since things seem to be working well even though I do not understand it.

    Next related question...
    The banner I created needed to be wider since I enlarged the width of the store to fill the whole screen. However, it appears that the banner is being cut off on the right end. I can only guess that there is a setting that only allows a banner of a certain width and any extra will not show up. So, if there is such a setting where is it? I think I saw something like that in the admin one time but can not find it now.

    If you enlarge your header image you must enlarge the area it goes into by editing /your_template/css/stylesheet.css.

    #headerpic {
    position: center;
    background: url("../images/hd.jpg");
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    height: 171px;
    width: 1075px;
    }

    All is going well but I need to get back to the original matter of this thread.
    My top banner seems to be stored at /public_html/includes/templates/freetemplate2/images.hd.jpg.
    The reason I say "seems to be" is that when I place another image at that location it does indeed change on my webpage. But when I go to that file and click "view" I get the old ZC banner even though the file is actually my own image.
    So, I am not understanding something here. Do you understand this?

    Thanks for your suggestion. Not when I "view" the banner it does not show the old original one any more. So I guess that did something. But now when I "view" it I only see a thin strip across the page. What I mean is that when the image load onto the screen it is only showing a small part of the image. And when I try to upload a new image it does not finish loading. Something is glitch and I does not know what or why. I'll wait a while and see if maybe the internet is doing something wrong. It does not make sense because I am doing things the same as I always have. Hmmm.
