Free Shipping Based on Zip Code

I have a quick question which I'm sure doesn't have a quick answer...

I have a list of 6 zip codes that I would like to provide free shipping to, can this be done with Zen Cart 1.3.9g?

There is not a facility for zip code geographics and as these can shift at the USPS determination they may or may not be long lasting

Try to create, if possible, a zone, with the city or cities encompassed

Unfortunately, the areas I would like to provide free shipping to don't cover the entire "city" just portions of it. Are there any other options?

I want to provide free shipping for Seattle, Bellevue, etc. (about 110 zip codes) by zip code. I am using the flate rate shipping module, with a Zone Definition, and then numerous zones within that. It seems to work o.k., but the customers address becomes something like:

John Smith
123 Anystreet
Seattle 98133 98133
United States

The state disappears and if I try to change the Zone from Washington 98133 to say, 98133 Washington I get the same visual result, but then the free shipping option disappears from the customer.

If there is not a way to do this, is there a commercial option available? What would the cost be for something like that?

I was able to resolve this by creating zones for the "free" delivery area (i.e. KING-WA, SNOH-WA) and another for the rest of the state (WA). I also added text instructing our customers how to select the correct state option to receive the free delivery. Thank you everyone for your help!
