New NonTechie User Needs Assistance!

I was just signed up to ZenCart and have had no guidance in its operation. Also not a computer person. My website was migrated to zen recently and I have had limited time to figure things out. I have a product listed on the site that comes in a variety of colors - I now need to add several new colors to the product list -- I found the existing list of colors by fluke but cant for the life of me figure out how to add the additional colors to the drop down box. Please forgive my stupidity on this but as I mentioned I do not deal with computers or their programs - therefore being techie challenged. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer

Also, take a look at the tutorials. Specifically https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=57. Colors, sizes, etc. are all examples of attributes.

I think this is what I have been looking for! Would I use ATTRIBUTES to ask if a customer would like to purchase the suggested product (in my case "humidity tray") with their order?

Where does this attribute appear? On the order page or on the product page?

Is it just me or is that tutorial clear as mud?? Here is what I want to add:

Question in cart: Add recommended humidity/drip tray?

Dropdown choices: No humidity/drip tray.
Yes - add humidity/drip tray - add $6.95

Not sure what is the option name, what is the value, and what is the attribute on the product.

Please help!

I have the cross sell mods...not sure if they are right for this because it's not really a drop down or radio button in the checkout...it's just a picture of related products, etc. Maybe there is another way to set that up that I havent figured out yet.

The attributes seem to suit my purpose here.

I assume you can upload the attributes with easy populate??
