Simple payment modules not showing in live 1.3.9h install

Two of my simple payment modules, namely

Cheque/Money Order
Direct Bank Deposit

are not showing up on the checkout_payment page (live install).

Yet they are both showing up on the corresponding local install.

The site in question is the third one in my signature.

I have both modules working on another two live 1.3.9h stores, both on the same server (my own reseller account), so I don't think it is a server issue.

Double checked that the modules are properly installed, enabled and configured in admin - all good.

Checked DB configuration entries via phpMyAdmin and yes: all good

Compared local and live file system (complete includes folder) several times: all identical

The third payment module PayPal Express is working just fine.

I have exhausted all avenues to get to the bottom of this mystery. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have the same issue with a 1.3.9h store. The only payment option available is "Direct Bank Deposit - NZ" yet the payment information page shows no paymenty options available and errors when the user tries to move on.

I really need this solved as the only payment option the client wants is bank deposit. Appreciate if someone could advise how this can be fixed.

Apologies..seems to be sorted now. I had not fully completed the zones / tax zones setup. Now that this has been done, it now seems to be working.

H! Im using v1.3.9, my payment options in admin is not adding any new modules and it does not give me the edit box on the right hand side when i click on Authorize.net - so i can not edit the two that is there and i can not add any. Help

It looks like you either have a backup file in the:
/includes/modules/payments

directory or that you have placed a language file in the code directory or the code file in the language directory ...

Check your files are all code in the:
/includes/modules/payment

and that the files are all language files in the:
/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

Make sure that you have no backup files or renamed copies of files as these are auto loading directories ...
