red flag Can't access Admin after moving to new server

    Hello Zenners,

I have been trying to resolve the following problem, however, to no avail. I have moved my server from the USA to Europe. My hosting company is GoDaddy.

My website is up and running, however, I have two following problems that are password access related -

The first is my inability to access my Admin - I followed the instructions in: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=2 However, to no avail. #1146 - Table 'eranariel.admin' doesn't exist

I then manually tried to make the changes by deleting the previous passwords directly in the phpmyadmin, selected MD5 for the password function and nothing happened.

I change my database name during the migration process, and , I have updated both configure.php files accordingly (admin/includes and includes directories)

the second problem is being unable to login to the site as a client - It just ignores the login and password...

I initially intended to access administration to resolve the latter, however, the former issue refrained me from being able to do so.

    my website is www.test.yarkansheli.com

My site supports both English as Hebrew...

There's a FAQ article on the topic. Maybe you missed some steps? https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=100

And, FYI, MD5 isn't enough for password creation. You can't just fudge passwords by hand like that ;)

    Thanx Dr. Byte...

Which function should I select for the admin_password... I am asking this prior to reviewing the link you recommended me...

The FAQ article you quoted earlier about resetting the admin password is the right approach. Then once you're logged in you can change the password to something else.

Question regarding the instructions...Is it suggested that I request a fresh new install of Zen Cart on which to upgrade my files?

What is the difference? in any case, my overrides will take priority..

how do I run the fix_cache_key.php file? Just by inserting it in the root where the index.php file is contained? admin/includes as well as admin both contain an index.php file..

    Please assist...

    Thanx in advance,

    Eran
