As I go through the checkout process, login and shopping cart show up fine but then the checkout page http://www.visitctg.com/retail/index...ckout_shipping is completely blank ... how do i fix this?

Peek in the /cache directory and see if you have any debug logs to give you an indication to the problem ...

I was able to get rid of the blank page -- but now, it won't get past pstep 1 of checkout -- there is no shipping module:
and this is what i get:
While installing the shipping module the server shows the following error logs

Kindly check with the same at your end and feel free to get back to us for further clarifications.
Can you check the files in:
/includes/modules/shipping
are all of the code files ...
And then check that the files in:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping
are all of the language files ...
Also check that for every file in the code module directory that there is a matching filename in the language directory ...

I am able to check the files -- but have no idea what I would be looking for -- this was supposed to be an easy one click install and I'm not having that success. I really need to get this working so we can start marketing a clients website.
The files that can be found in both of the directories you listed are:
flat
freeoptions
freeshipper
item
perweightunit
storepickup
table
ups
usps
zones
These files are in both directories ... what do i need to check in these files? I have access via dreamweaver.
There is a classic folder with an empty.txt file in the languages folder and there is not one in the modules/shipping ... what does this mean and how do i fix it?
What version of Zen Cart are you running?
Clean install or an Upgrade?
If an Upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?
From a clean copy of your Zen Cart version, using your FTP program, could you reload to the server the files for the directories:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping
and could you reload the file:
/admin/modules.php
NOTE: you need to add to your stylesheet.css for you template the following classes:
.hiddenField {
display: none;
}
.visibleField {
display: inline;
}

Okay I have the modules there and activated --- HOWEVER, i still get...
"Your order will be shipped to the address at the left or you may change the shipping address by clicking the Change Address button.
Not Available At This Time
Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time."
on the page and it will not allow me to proceed.![]()
If you go to the Admin for the Modules ... Shipping ... are you getting any errors?
Do you have any Zones set on any of your Shipping Modules?
What Shipping Modules have you actually installed?
If you edit the Product that you are testing ...
What is the Price of your Product?
Which way is your Product configured:

What is the Product Weight of your Product? i had nothing then changed it to 10 (it doesn't work either way)
