Um ... with all due respect, if your logs are showing that you ARE using the CURL proxy, then you have *NOT* turned off the setting which uses it.
So, go back and do as I said in my prior post.

I had the same problem. Took you advice and went into Admin to change the cURL. The instructions read like if I used GoDaddy (which I do) I had to go through them. But I tried turning it off anyway, and it worked. Thanks. Bill
