Re: Module for global gateway connect?

Sorry, I gave up on this for a couple of days, have to destress.

Ok, I signed up for a credit card processing thing through my bank. First Data, thinking I could use it to take credit cards on my web site. So I hire someone to set this up for me. She sets up zen cart, I add everything to the store with prices and descriptions. I get paypal to work with zen cart. But she can't get the credit card part to work. So she gives up, won't answer my emails, left me high and dry. So I call tech support, I'm told that I can't use godaddy.com with zencart with the credit card company as godaddy blocks port 1129. I call godaddy and tell them, they tell me I need an SSL certificate. That takes forever to get to work. Credit cards still can't process. Again I call godaddy because it goes back to port 1129 being blocked. Godaddy says I need to pay $30-60 a month for a private server.
Or my credit card comapny says I need to find a shopping cart compatible with global gateway connect, again around $30 a month for this shopping cart. I also called hostgator to see if they block this 1129 port, and they block it as well, unless you pay an additional $30 a month for a private server So I am stuck now. I don't want to pay $30-60 for a private server. I don't want to pay $30 a month for a shopping cart. And I already paid $200 through my bank to set up this credit card system they use. What a mess.:cry::cry: I just want to use zen cart, which I already have set up, with First Data, which I have already paid for. Not looking to promising though.

Re: Module for global gateway connect?

If the port is not open and available and you have no option to use another, which you probably do not then it can not function

Re: Module for global gateway connect?

I ended up switching to hostmonster. They opened that port for me. I made sure to find out ahead of time. Thanks for everyone's help, now my questions have moved on to making my sight pretty lol!
