    Default Removing newsletter functionality

I want to completely remove all hints of built in newsletter functionality from Zen Cart admin as the end user will be using Campaign Monitor for their newsletters.

What's the best way to achieve this?

remove all hints of built in newsletter functionality from Zen Cart admin
As there are no overrides for the admin and this would require multiple file edits that will have to be maintained manually when upgraded it would be far easier for an admin to just ignore them

So I should tell the store owner. "Ignore the free built-in thing and use my paid solution instead?"

    That would be my suggestion

There is also an integration for another service - Mail Chimp in the add on area

I am not positive how well it is integrated but do know that there is a sign up sidebox one can display - if you are not married to your service

I am married to it as it allows me to bill my clients for emails that they send. People always tend to choose free and crappy over cheap and good.

You could point out that most hosts throttle the number of outgoing emails per time period, and the built-in Zencart email process has no provision to break the emails into sendable bunches. I'm sure yours does.
