Removing the credit card option from payment page

hi i want to totally remove the credit card details section of the payment page so it only shows paypal. ive looked in the payment moduals section of the admin and credit card is turned off. does anyone know how to sort this please.

Admin>Modules>Payment.

I know you looked, but EVERY icon under Orders Status should be red, with the exception of PayPals Status, which should be green. So, if you have some icons besides PayPals' that's green, be sure to un-install those. If any icons are orange, you may want to un-install those, too.

At any rate..................if PayPal's the only payment module that's installed, then it should be the only one to be shown.

Let us know if this helped, or if you've still got a problem with this, as if they are all un-installed besides PayPal, and others are still showing, then something's definitely wrong.

hi and thanks for the reply. the only one's that are green are the 2 paypal moduls i installed. everything else is red including the credit card modul

It sounds like you have Paypal Express and Paypal Payments Pro installed - do you have a Payments Pro (not free) account ? If not, remove that one.
