Default Re: Image Handler 3 Support Thread

Ok, I had posted earlier last week about the Image Handler 3, I went through all my configurations, and changed my settings, but what I am still trying to do that will not work is make the images on the home page of my catalog (images in the main wrapper) become larger when I hover, not the new products on the left hand side. Those are the only ones that get larger when I hover.

    Can someone please help me

    The site is http://10before6.com/zencart/index.php

    Thank you so much!!!

Jessica as I posted a few days back, I can tell by looking at your site that you do not have all your image settings configured correctly for the image hover to work as it should in all place..

Please RE-REVIEW the section on the image hover in the IH3 readme.. The small settings (covered in the IH3 readme) must be configured correctly for the image hover to work in all the places it's supposed to work.. My guess is that if the hover works in one place but not another that you do not have ALL of your small image settings configured as prescribed in the readme.

After you re-review the readme, make sure ALL of the small image settings for your site are correct. (and BTW, just ONE page back in this support thread the same/similar question was asked, and the small image settings were in fact not correct..)

How can I remove the Image Hover preview? The Client don't want it. They love everything except this (picky).

Simply turn off the image hover in the image configuration.. (Image hover settings are covered in the readme)

I used godaddy hosting, but they have some limite as can't have more than 1024 files in per folder,so i must clear the bmz_cache folder every day,it's tried for me,so i need use cron job to clear the bmz_cache folder every day,and because i have no to do it in some days, then the godaddy workers closed my hosting.

1.but i don't know how to set it in godaddy cron job manager, please let me know the command.

2.If you can help us more,i hope you can fix this problem for godaddy hosting user: let the different cache picture to differrent folders,as bmz_cache/Large_cache/ and bmz_cache/M_cache/ ..., limite files number for per folders, and when the pictures files over the number, then it auto to creat files to other folders.if the script will be so cool, then godaddys user will be happy more.

Now i limite the files less than 1024 in per folders and set faile for Image Handler2,but have many new products and many old products must use oriange picture, and the picture too big,so the site very very slowly now. it will cost about 10s to open full.

Short answer is you need to find a new host that is prepared to host your site.. Go Daddy is not recommended by the Zen Cart developers/admins.. Answers to your query is below..

You need to consult with Go Daddy on this.. This support thread cannot assist you with host specific instructions

If you insist on keeping Go Daddy as your host (not recommended) You will need to consider paying a developer to create this one off version of IH3 for you.. I imagine that this would be a fair amount of work to make it work in the manner you describe to accommodate one specific host..

And HOW does your question related to the IMAGE HANDLER add-on???

Because if you are asking a GENERAL "how can I do this" question, you are in the wrong part of the forum.. This is the support thread for Imaged Handler 3. If you have other image related questions you need to create your own thread and ask you question there..

Installing this mod is beyond my capabilities and I've been quoted $150 by my host for the installation which I thought was really steep. What is a fair price? How long should this take? I am interested in this mod only to speed up my site.

    Thanks.
