I am sorry but you will not be getting very good help if you make everyone guess.
It has been mentioned MANY times that to get good help posters need to place a link to their store so that the helpers may go see with their own eyes what is happening.
so please post your store software version and store link in the thread to get help that will benefit you to fix it sooner.
Managed to sort most through image handler just left with a few products like this on with multiple images http://www.rvsolarsystems.co.uk/stor...&products_id=4
thease are the ones I'm getting the error message from when I try to solve it through image handler I know I've screwed up somewhere but don't want to make it worse

well I kill my own store occasionally so I am well aware of messing things up royal...lol
well you should get better help than what I can off but I am confused a bit. I went to the link and I see the main product image...opens to a nice sized larger image to view details well.
at the bottom of the page I see the additional image--when you said you have multiple images i thought you meant more than 1 of the same image at the bottom....I see only the one additional image that is slightly different than the top one.
I also noticed that when the additional image is clicked on to view it does not show...see pic posted
did you make sure all your files are in their correct places on the server?
have you tried going to admin/tools/IH3/itw own admin link and clearing the cache? Or going to the server and deleting all folders in the bmz_cache folder?
when I hover over the image it does not show the link as bmz_cache BUT when I choose to view image when right-clicked it does show the right path...confusing to me but then I confuse easy.
What ever your doing remember to KISS ( Keep It Simple Stupid )
and when you hover over the images show on the products detail page it will NEVER show the URL for the image in the bmz_cache folder. The URL you see when you hover the main product or additional images on the product detail page is the link to the pop-up window which will THEN contain the large image. If you right click the image from the popup window THEN you should see the large being served up from the bmz_cache folder.
That said if you right click the main product image (medium image) and the additional image thumbnails (small image), they should be served up from the bmz_cache folder.

a few more observations.
- DON'T use spaces in your image file names. It appears in this product that you have an additional image named "40 Watt solar panel", and it doesn't appear to have a file extension at all. (which may be why the store ignores it)
- As has been said in the README and in this support thread, you only need to upload ONE image to the main image folder and it should be the LARGEST image. IH3 will then take care of generating the small and medium images. In the example you provided it appears that your large product images are stored in "images/large".
- Once reason additional image may not show up is because the filetypes/extensions do not match the main product image. IH3 will help you spot when these situations exist as post here by nigel a week or so ago: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpo...&postcount=224

Zen Ver 1.3.9h
Image Handler version Version 2
When someone is using Firefox (ver 7.0.1) images cannot be enlarged without having to play around with the mouse. For example, if you open a product on my site below, try to click on the image. Note the mouse icon with not change to a "hand" unless you center the icon in the middle of the image. SO most customers assume the image can't be enlarged after clicking their mouse a few times and nothing happens.
www.cvtreasures.com
What you're talking about can be found on this product page.
However, when other images, such as those under "We Recommend" found on that same page, or those found under "New Products" on your home page, are moused over - IH works exactly as expected. Which is to say the image is zoomed on mouseover.
The issue you are describing (and which can be reproduced by me when I visit your site), is not an IH2 or IH3 issue. It is an issue with FF 7.01 and ZC's core functionality as it relates to viewing a larger version of a product image when on a product info page.
The reason I know this is because I know that the functionality of ZC which enlarges product images on click is not a function of IH2 or IH3 - it is a core ZC functionality that remains unchanged by IH2 and IH3.
IH does not handle the zooming/enlarging of product images on product info pages because IH does not handle medium size images - and ZC uses the medium size image to enlarge product images (on product info pages) on click. This is addressed at length in the IH3 Read_Me.
Seconding what Diva has said, suggest you take this up with FF developers and/or in the ZC forum on the general issues board. It has been suggested that the FF issue is really an issue with an addon called Firebug, but I use that addon and have no problem on my site.
The issue seems to affect some stores while leaving other stores unaffected. Whether it's a FF issue, a Firebug issue, an individual store issue, an outdated JS issue, or a browser permissions issue...it is clearly not an IH3 or IH2 issue and therefore should no longer be discussed in this thread, as it could be confusing to new Zenners.
Good luck and happy Zenning![]()
