Image Handler 3 Support Thread (for ZC v1.3.9)

I tried searching this thread so forgive me if this has already been answered. I've installed (twice) to make sure all the files were copied correctly after trying to do Image Handler 2 yesterday and people told me of this newer - thanks! But I'm having the same issue; when I go to
Make sure Image Handler 3 is installed. Admin > Tools > Image Handler3 > Admin

it is not there. I had the same issue w/version 2 yesterday so I was unable to "un-install".
Does anyone know if there is a common missed step that would have it not appear in the admin - tools area?

Before you spend anymore time troubleshooting this you need to make sure your have the right version of Image Handler for the version of Zen Cart you are running.. If this is a Zen Cart 1.5 store this is your issue. Image Handler 2 or 3 do not work with Zen Cart v1.5.. (and it's VERY clear in the downloads which version of Image Handler goes with which version of Zen Cart)

I have searched every thread I can think of to answer this question ... I may not have the right search term and have overlooked somewhere, so my apologies if I am asking in the wrong forum.

I am currently running Zen-Car V1.3.9 and because of it I installed Zen Lightbox V1.6.2. Today I also read the documentation and uploaded Image Hander 3.

Everything works wonderfully! It's just terrific, there were no errors, except I cannot get the additional images to show up in Lightbox. The first category product image shows in Lightbox but none of the additional images. Each additional images opens in a pop-up box. Also Admin> Configuration> Zen LightBox> Gallery Mode is turned on - so I am assuming it might be something I am missing with the hook-up with Image handler (?)

I have been reading different posts where other users have had a variation on theme type problem, but each experience seems to be connected to an error. I have not run into any errors, so I feel like I might be missing something simpe?

Re-read the readme.. There are specific instructions for installing Image Handler and Zen Lightbox together.. Follow these instructions and your problem will be resolved.. I believe similar instructions exist in the Zen Lightbox instructions as well..

my only problem is that on my larger images in the product_info_layout - when you click on larger image, the popup opens but does not display an image - my guess is it is not finding an image and I am not sure why (pulling out my hair here)

In the popup window it opens a tiny little box and puts in the words (xxxx-productname - click image to close)

Please help, I am now totally lost as to what the actual problem could be - even compared certain template files with the origional template default ones and cannot find the error.

it says: /shop/corpribbon.png can not be found

so try there first...it might also be a typo somewhere or maybe you did not get all files uploaded

Thanks for the reply - I did check that - all the files are there
the code it is giving is: /shop/books.png
INSTEAD OF
/shop/images/books.png

Where do I find where it is reading that source code from? It is missing the /images/ folder when trying to read that image?

so for that one it should be reading it as /shop/images/corpribbon.png

If I had to hazard a guess, I'd bet that your Template Monster template is the issue.. It's likely that they stripped code Image Handler needs to work properly.. You can test my theory by trying to switch to the classic template.. I'll bet you will not have the same issues if you do..

Only other thing I can suggest is rechecking your install..

Hmm something def up. Cannot even select to use the classic template from Admin. It only shows the current one. First time I have come across this - do you know how I get that back?
