Floating sub catagories add on

Is there a mod which shows sub catagories as a menu when you hover over a catagory? Thanks.

Yes.
I have installed "Category Drop Down Select Menu" but it is not what I am looking for.

For the sidebox, there is CSS Flyout Menu, and Categories Dressing can be turned into a flyout menu with the addition of a couple of stylesheet rules described in the support thread. There may be others as well, and there are several built for the header horizontal categories bar.
