i have a number of additional in my side box which serve as a sort by price feature, the only problem is that these are just shortcuts to a pre defined search. once the user is on that page and wants to search / sort these results further using the filter drop down box it then takes the user to the advanced search page and states that no products match that criteria. so i would like if possible to either remove it from the search results page or fix it so that it is able to do this, although i presume the latter is not as easy as it sounds. could any assist me at all?

link is in my footer and the above issue can be recreated by clicking on any sort by price link and then selecting any further filtering from the drop box at the top
