Easy Populate Admin Tools?

You're spot on, I have used fantastico deluxe for my zen cart install.

ZC_admin is the folder I use to get into the admin area of the site, so if I follow you correctly, renaming the admin file to zc_admin, when I am doing the install will help to resolve my problem.

I am not a webmaster worth my salts, at all - I am a complete amateur in most respects!

No problem with being an "amateur". Not so long ago I was there too, and this forum got me sorted out.

Right now you probably have:
admin
zc_admin
in your root folder.

DELETE admin

Then, use FTP to load EasyPop, but BEFORE you send it via FTP, RENAME the admin folder in EasyPop module to zc_admin.

Then, your EasyPop folder will MATCH your ZC root folder

So I have followed the procedure,as you laid out, and this still hasn't worked.

Easy populate showing in configuration dropdown of 'zc_admin' control panel, but not in the 'tools' drop down.

I have followed all the install and readme stuff, and haven't a clue where I am going wrong.

i have finally got easy populate to work again, it did stop downloading the current products from the site, i have noticed that my product prices are higher when i download them from the site using easy populate than they actually are on the website, has anyone else had this issue?

currently i have a Electra Townie Fender Set
Electra Townie Fender Set RRP on site £32.95

when i download from easypopulate the price is showing as £37.86

i am unable to make a mass change to the site which is needed without this problem being sorted so any help would be ace

I wonder if you eventually found a solution? I have the same problem but I am able to use EP by using the url. When I type in the URL "website.com/admin/easypopulate.php" i can pull up the page and upload databases so everything is installed correctly in that respect. The only issue is that I cannot get it to show up under "Tools". I've removed and installed a few times, and have tried to upload the sql script as per the install.txt's failure instructions. Uploading the SQL script just gives me an error (with no details).

I'm stumped... It would be great if you managed to figure this out!
