Always Free Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping

If this is clicked, does it apply to the Free Shipping Module Rules?

If I have Free Shipping and Free Shipping Options set to a zone that includes ONLY the lower 48 states and someone tries to buy it from Alaska, will it still try free shipping, or will it default to non-free shipping options like FedEx?

Did it qualify for free shipping or did you have an item with "Always Free Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping" Turned on?

I created account from alaska, and on check out the above was figured

I have Free Shipping set to the lower 48 for orders over $500. I want to offer Free Shipping on some special purchase items that don't meet the $500 requirement. I still want to sell it outside the lower 48, but want it to automatically revert to normal shipping rules.

At a guess ... could you tell us which of your over 5000 products might be marked as Always Free Shipping?

Always Free Shipping is designed for Free Shipping for *everyone* regardless of the Zone ...

The Zone setting is there for developers to make customizing code easier ... it is not for limiting the use of it without custom coding ...

I do have code running around the forum somewhere that shows how to limit Always Free Shipping to a Zone ... but I forget where I might have put it ...

Perhaps someone recalls this or you can search for it so I don't have to try to rewrite the world ...
