old template, new zen?

I have to start over with a clean install of my site and I'm skeered. (overwhelmed really, but with all the amazing knowledge already posted here, I know I can do it!)

I'm going to use a clean install of zencart 139h and then manually redo everything. Currently I use zc138a with Apple Zen template 2.6 which was created in 2008 for zc138. Any chance this template won't work in zc 139h?

Just insure that template files do not have a updated version and if so merge the required differences

It is lilely that Applezen will work with 1.3.9.

I use a Derivative of it HERE (and that site uses 1.3.9h)
