    Default Constant probems getting shipping to work

    On domain shop11.co.uk
    using v1.3.9f

    No matter what I set the shipping / tax zones to (none or a selected zone) the only shipping module which will work is freeshipper, every other setting gives the " we are not shipping to your zone messages".

    Also whichever payment module i have installed does not make a difference.

    Basic aim is to have flat rate and free options to work.

    Did get it to work once, then went back an hour later and magically it had stopped working.

    Help needed as at doing my head in stage

    Do you have a Zone set on your Flat Rate?

    If you are limiting your shipping and have set a Zone on Flat Rate, check your Zone Definition and see what the DEFINE settings are to ensure that you have setup the Countries and Zones that should be using it ...

    Hi thanks for the reply.

    Ive actually solved the problem i believe.

    I'll explain what the problem is, just so others know as when i searched the forums i did not find the problem or an explanation.

    As we do an all inclusive price selling, our price is all in, apart from a surcharge for expediated delivery.

    So we set items to zero weight or to free shipping in the listing, that causes the problem with the zones.

    I dont know why but it does.

    Setting them to a nominal weight and not free shipping, solves the problem of cant ship to zones.

    If you mark a Product as Always Free Shipping or 0 weight, and 0 weight is defined as Free Shipping in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... then only Free Shipping will be available ...
