Extra fee on checkout?

Hello all

I need some help, i have 2 main categories where i have to add a core fee to all products when they go to checkout, is there a way to apply this? i guess i could do this with the attribute controller, but it would take alot of time to set it up for all subcategories i have in this 2 main categories.

Does anyone have a good idea to solve this?

this is based on shipping, and not sure if this will be working if they choose to pickup the products in my store, and changing the core files not what i hoped for, i do hope there is a way to do this without changing corefiles...
