Editing The Checkout Page - Labels

Hello all :)

I am using Zen 1.39D.

I am trying to update a label in my check out page. Basically, it is the page where you select shipping.

I did this in 2007 and I need to update it and not sure how I did it. I have looked in the developers tool kit. I have searched numerous threads but they send me to the includes/languages/english files and the catalog>includes>templates>template_default>templates files. I have searched numerous other files like in the modules directory for shipping, but am not just finding it.

I have attached a snapshot and circled the text I want to change. Your help is greatly appreciated :)

1. search for this:
2. bottom left hand side
3. Valid through Dec 31, 2008

Oh My Thank you Thank you Thank you! I was only using the first box. After using that box you directed me to, and changing it to all files, I found it!

No, it was actually
includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/CUSTOM/table.php

That was so difficult for me to find. I was just searching in the wrong place. I can't thank you enough. I feel silly wasting your time when all I had to do was plug the text into the bottom left box!

What I do when I edit a override file or core file is do this:
You will notice this in the table.php file

// shipping adjustment

What I do is this: I use my initials in the example below..

// MSC
// shipping adjustment

Then when I need to find a file I changed the wording too I use the developers tool kit and search for MSC

Or create a folder in the root directory called Changes

1. then make a .txt file and jot down this change so next time. Wammo there she/he is..
