Account creation problem

Lighbox, imagehandler, pricelist, easypopulate,recovercart sales,monthly sales addons
No recent upgrade!

The problem has just started occuring in that when a new account creation is attempted - the form is always redisplayed with the error * (at least 5 characters) the password does indeed contain 5 or more characters...

I have set the following in admin:

Min values: password = 5

Thanks for any help on solving this as currnelty no new customers can create an account!

Hi,
Its set to 5.
I have entered 6, 7 8 letters as well in my password and still not working.
