How do I modify the Categories box?

I want to modify my Categories as they are all to close and need them spacing one way or another, ive looked at other sites and the cats on them are Spaced Great or under lined and thats what im wanting on my site, its a Cherry Zen if that helps if you look at http://www.psychicgiftshop.co.uk you will see what i mean, i need them clear and standing out a little or under lined instead of people straining their eyes trying to see, any help much appreciated, many thanks

My first suggestion would be to remove the category counts, and then increase the width of the left sidebox column (both doable in admin) so that your category names don't wrap. Much easier to read that way.

After that, find this in the stylesheet and add the red part, adjusting the value to suit:

#categoriesContent, #documentcategoriesContent {
text-align:left;
padding-left:10px;
line-height: 1.5em;
}

Take time and download the browser called Moxilla Firefox, then download the add on called Web Developer or Firebug

These two jewels allow you to play with your existing site on the fly to make changes to the stylesheet.css to control div id's and classes on your site. Then if you like make the final change to the existing stylesheet.css on the server and presto "Job Done"
