Default How can one attribute enable/disable another?

    Hi everyone,

I am trying to find info on how to make different attributes depend on each other, i.e. you can choose a productīs size and colour separately, but one specific colour disables one or more of the sizes because that combination is unavailable.
Or, in this example, I am selling a course where you can sign up 1-4 participants. If you select 1, I want 1 field to enter participantīs name, 2 for 2 and so on:

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Kristian

This is not currently a feature of Zen Cart.

Hmmm.... Any idea how big a deal it would be to make?

Since the question has been asked since I've been hanging around here (and probably before) and no one has stepped up to write a mod, I'd guess that it would be a very big deal.

Sure, seems like it. But I guess the more people ask for it the more incentive for some of the great people here to look at it. I surely would chip in

It's not that it's such a big deal; the issue is that it would be very hard to design it to work in a general case. Most people would just write custom javascript code to do this sort of thing. In your particular case, I would recommend rethinking your product structure (if you just have one product with one name the problem goes away).
