Some of my Categories have a strange symbol

Hello all,

Working on my website here, and I notice that some of my categories have a "->" symbol in front of them to denote an arrow. This looks unprofessional and is also unnecessary since there's an arrow in front of the category anyways.



I thought to myself, "This is an easy fix. I'll go to 'admin panel < catalog < categories/products' and rename any category with the arrow symbol. However, this is what I find:



There's no arrow symbol in the category name! So where are these arrows being generated from? Again, it's unprofessional looking and simply unnecessary.

I don't know about 'unprofessional' - those show your visitors which categories have subcategories.

You can change or remove them here:

Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings - Categories Separator between the Category Name and Count

Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories Separator between the Category Name and Count > set to blank.
