Problem with Text Attribute

If you visit http://www.freight-stop-shop.co.uk/d...=index&cPath=5 and try to add a product to the cart without completing the 'attributes' text you will get an error message - this is because 3 of the attributes (text) are set to 'required'.

If you visit http://www.freight-stop-shop.co.uk/t...products_id=83 the attribute is also text type and the attribute is 'required' - but adding to the cart without entering the attribute text is successful without any error message.

And I cant see what is different

Advice appreciated before what hair I have left gets torn out

What version of Zen Cart are you using???

admin panel/ tools/ template selection/ change back to classic contemporary green

1. see if the problem still exists
2. I just duplicated what you are doing on a fresh install with no add on's in 139h and the errror message works perfect when no text is added in the box...

Oh, my have you been editing a few core files?????

Have you set up the override system??

override is set up
I have not edited any core files - only within override.

I have loaded the following modules:
Super Orders
Order Export
I have a backup taken before those modules were loaded -
both store and sql backups - so I can re-wind
but I've done quite a lot of editing in overide since then

There is where your problem lies...

What has happened is one of these files have been loaded onto the core of zen cart which has taken out the function of Text attributes...

When you load a add on module you have to use Winmerge and compare the module with the core of zen and only paste over the code for the module...
