Drop down list for ordering larger quantity with a discount?

I know there is a quantity box for ordering items but I would like to change that so when somebody orders for example 2 of an item. They will receive a discount. I want something like this in a dropdown box:

1 x item = £10
2 X item = £18
3 x item = £27
4 x item = £35

Then they can select the option they want and it will take them to the checkout.

Have you looked at the Products Price Manager and the Discounts that you can setup on a per Product basis with it?

Yes but that only displays a small table next to the item and the user has to type in the quantity their self.

It doesn't actually add a drop down box for the user to select the quantity at the discounted price.

I tried going on the Attributes manager. The best I can do is make a radio check-list with each price and quantity but each box seems to already be ticked when I go to test my product.
