Hi:
I have a client who has asked me to look into this, but since my knowledge of ZenCart is not as strong as other systems I develop - I thought I would see if someone has come across this.
They have products, where people can choose a style (plate or bowl), a color, a font and then enter a customized name to be imprinted on the product. I found that when a customer orders multiple items, the very same item with same style, font, color and name - the items are getting lumped into the cart system without indicating the design they want. It won't show the proper thumbnail, won't show the proper design (category) or anything. If they ordered the same item, and simply changed the font, then the cart WILL show the proper thumbnail and design for the items - so those orders are not an issue.
Hopefully I have explained things, just wondering where should I be looking to see what makes the system lump/group things together in this manner. I did not originally design the system, so I'm coming in a little blind. Tried to do some different searches on the forum, and didn't come up with something this similar. No known issues other than this, client has indicated they did not upgrade recently or add anything new to the system.
The client is running Zen Cart 1.3.8a. They are hosted on GoDaddy.
Hope someone can steer me in the right direction, ask any other questions to help me out, or tell me I'm daffy. I'll take whatever I can get. I am including a snapshot, showing how they are grouped together, not showing the design at all. I can imagine it would group same items together, but why is it leaving certain information out all together?
Thanks again.
