red flag site wide, category & product mark up

Hi Has anybody had any joy with the 'site wide, category & product mark up' mod? Link below

    http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=942

I can get it to add a sitewide percentage markup, but not markup specific to a category or product. Instructions suggest that it can do this.

This is what it says in my admin:

Define your mark up requirements here, separated by semicolons(";").

Format: [default markup]; [c or p]([category / product id values, separated by commas, also able to accept range]):[percentage / dollar amount]

    Example: 100%, c(2,3,5-20):150%;p(100-200,9):$200

In the above example, mark up by 100% for all products, 150% for category id 2, 3, and 5 to 20, and add $200 for products ids 9, 100 to 200

Tried doing c(2,3,4):25% with and without a semi colan but it doesn't work. Also the same with products.

It would be great if someone knows how to make this work as it would resolve a massive issue I have with markup pricing.

There are some threads that describe how to do something like that with SQL statements. If you can describe exactly what you want to do, I might be able to find them.

    I haven't tried that mod.

red flag Re: site wide, category & product mark up

I managed to get it working as properly, the guy that did the instructions made a Typo. See this thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...y+product+mark

So I have it sort of working but it doesn't work with attributes.

The original price is £42.09 and the price displays as Starting at: £75.05 when priced by attributes and I had it set to 25% markup. Obviously this is wrong. When I do it without attributes the price displays as £50.99 which is correct.

Do you know of a way to set percentage markups in attributes?
