I installed this mod and had it configured, but when I test it out on the site I am getting this message on the checkout page>

2147219101 - Missing value for Service.

How can I clear this so that I can see the rates?

Are you referring to the USPS January 22, 2012 update or to the USPS Shipping Module - RateV4, IntlRateV2 add on?

The add on for:
USPS Shipping Module - RateV4, IntlRateV2

has not been updated for the January 22, 2012 changes ...

That one is not up to date ... you might read some previous messages on this thread and se if you can make the changes that have been talked about to update it enough to work with the January 22, 2012 changes ...

Sounds like it might be related to the Ratev4 that you were using that changes the file:
/your_admin_dir/modules.php

and now, as you are not using it, you are getting the warning ...

so, how do I fix it if I don't plan to upgrade to v1.5 at this moment? many things

You could just put back the original file for:
/admin/modules.php

I've tried several times to get this module to work but cannot. I can get the default one working no problem.
However I want to ship only flat rate boxes so I installed this.

I put in the default sizes in the config pane.

The error is this:

That is the only thing I see when I check out.
