Did the old Marco module have a bunch of other files included with it besides just the modules.php that you've been discussing?

Only language file in admin. It also has a sql patch as I mentioned before.

Have you put those back to original code as well?

I override them with this one. The only one I didn't override is the language file of the admin.

Did you click "Remove" on all your USPS modules, before deleting their old PHP files and putting the new J5 module in place and clicking "Install"?

Well, I didn't do it in that order Do I have to? Maybe here is my issue?

did you leave fragments of the old thing behind, that are now affecting you adversely?

The only thing I can think of, is the patch for the database. The module doesn't include an uninstall patch.

Ok, I did it in that order. Remove > Upload files > Install > Configure

Still same issue.

But, can you Zip together the files for your USPS that you are trying to use, preferably in the same tree structure, and anything else that might be needed that I could actually set up a play site and see what is what?

Assume that I would be starting with a clean v1.3.9h with demo products and have no other changes to the Play site ...

Configuration=>Shipping/Packaging=>Enter the max package weight that you will ship: 25

BINGO! But I changed it to 70 and now doesn't calculate anything. I tried 30 as well but continues giving same result. So how I'm supposed to make all the changes there to make it work (it was working perfectly with Marco's module).

Linda, I will if necessary now that I noticed this issue is because of the max package was the issue. The problem of showing the total weight continues being a problem even I have it unchecked on the configuration. I strongly believe this is a db issue (but I'm not programmer)

Which filtering option of Marco's module were you using? Weight or Volume?

We were using the volume filtering extensively and it was sometimes tricky when using the 6th - 11th digits to the right of the decimal. We abandoned the Marco version for the J5 version last Sunday and had to make a few changes to our product weights and also the weight limits on the packages in an attempt to find a balance that we could live with and we're still tweaking things.
