Customer required items missing

I am using Zen Cart 1.3.8a and I have customers that create accounts without entering all the required fields (telephone number), even though I have set minimum to 7 numbers. I dont want customers to be able to have an account without filling in all the details. Thanks for the help.

Do you use Paypal Express ? It could be those customers aren't entering the telephone number there. I think there's an option to require telephone numbers in your Paypal settings.

Thanks for the answer, but the problem seems to be in the actual customer module for required fields. When a customer signs up on my site to purchase or subscribe to the newsletter, they have to fill out a form. One of the fields is telephone number and shows that it is required. However, some people are able to sign up without fill in the telephone information, even though I have set the minimum value to 7 numbers.

That is funny I am currently running into the same problem and I cant figure out how they are doing it. I have tried to make a fake account and it dose not allow me to continue.
