how to change dynamic elements in page title?

Hello, I have been searching the forums for an answer, but have not been able to find anything.

I am trying to find in what file the elements of a dynamic page title are in.

For example, my current product page title includes sku and price.

I know I can change these one-by-one in the admin section, but I don't know how to make this change globally.

I did find /languages/english/meta_tags.php, but that just had my store name appended after "page title".

Where can I find what elements are pulled dynamically? I so use Simple SEO URLs, but none of the config there looked like it matched.

The radio-button selections you're referring to are stored in the database, not in a PHP file.
For existing products, use the admin screen to update them.
For global settings changes for *future* products, change your preferred defaults via Admin->Catalog->Product Types->Product-General->Edit Layout

By the way, should this change be instant? I changed the values, but do not see them taking effect.

Editing the settings for individual products will take effect immediately.
Changing the settings under the product-type will only set the defaults for NEW products that you create AFTER changing that setting. It will NOT affect any existing products.

so, this would mean I have to go back and edit all of my current projects? Yikes... anyway around this?

Yes you would have to go back and edit them individually.

Any work around or shortcut will require comprehensive knowledge in database.
