Any Fix for Image handler2 to work with Chrome?

I've been trying to find a fix or patch which would allow image handler2 to work when using the Google Chrome Browser.
Is there one out yet? Thanks for your help.
The problem is when you attempt to enlarge image on a zenCart page the handler opens up but won't display the image.

As it is not a full featured browser it is unlikely

Should be asking Chrome to be more compliant

works fine for me in Chrome (which is a fully functional browser)

Have you checked the IH2 support thread?

There was a webkit (safari, Chrome, Konqueror) issue a year or two ago with the image hover but that was fixed ages ago, you must be using either a really old version of image handler, or somethings wrong with your settings.

Chrome and image handler work perfectly for me

post in the IH2 support thread, or update to IH3 (if you are using zencart 1.3.9x)

Hmm, I don't think you're having a specific Chrome problem. I see your issue in Chrome but also seeing a similar issue in FF 4.0.1.

I am looking at your site in FF4 and it's broken so it's not chrome. Also, it's not IH that is the issue, it's your lightbox. Which lightbox are you using?

Error is most likely your lightbox mod

according to your header

/* Zen Lightbox v1.5 2008-12-18 */ (chrome browser had only just been released as beta at that point)

And the entire js is emmbedded in the header rather than as a linked file

update to the latest version.

Javascript engines have been evolving a lot, i know for image handler we have had to make changes for chrome, safari, opera and IE9, so a 3 year old light box script probably needs updating.

Its always best to post in the support thread as the people who maintain the add-on tend to look there, and modern version of the add-on works perfectly with imagehandler 3

Thanks nigelt74, your suggestions worked out perfectly. I upgraded to latest lightbox module and followed install instructions and voila the image now opens in all browsers including Chrome.

There is one little item that still doesn't work in chrome, On all other browsers you have an X to close the picture, the X doesn't appear in Chrome. I can still close the item by clicking on the bottom right of the picture, which is where the X would be. Any ideas on how to get the X to appear.

All works fine for me in Chrome including being able to see the "Close X" in the bottom right hand corner. I'm using Chrome v13.0.782.1 if that makes a difference.
