Why is my column layout different on every page?

What have I done? What do I need to do?

I have installed a module - column layout grid for product listing - and the home page has featured products listed in columns. Great!

Every other category (eg, paperbacks) has the listings in rows - one single column down the page. I want up to three products on the top row.

And New Products has an entirely different layout altogether. Huh?

As far as I know, I've changed all picture perameters to 150px width, but it's only effected the main page. Other categories have large pics, apart from New which has smaller pics (huh?). -- I would like to keep the large pics for the single product page.

Finally, is there a way to get the description listed alongside of the product image on the main page and category views? Rather than underneath?

Maybe someone clever can take a quick look and clue me in?

First thing I'd do is switch back temporarily to the Classic template and see if things are different.

Also check the settings that relate to rows and columns in Admin - Configuration - Product Listing

Once everything is working properly, you'll need this to make everything look the same:

Yes, that module was the one I needed. I never would have thought so from the title of it, so I'm very pleased that you mentioned it.

After installing, the featured products in the centre box disapeared from the main page. Undoubtedly because the mod replaced my featured_products.php file. I tried inserting the code which I used to get them there in the first place - here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...ured+main+page
but that didn't work.

So, for the hell of it, I just deleted the new version of featured_products.php. Probably unwise, but everything is backed up. And that has restored my centre box in the main page and seems to have no adverse effects. So I'm leaving it like that.
