Html email not working on order updates?

Hi All,

For some reason my HTML email works fine for order confirmations and welcome emails, but I have just noticed for some reason they are text format for order updates....?

Is this normal or should they be HTML?

I am using 1.3.9h and I have replaced the admin/orders.php file that I believe sends the emails with another one from a fresh fileset just incase.

Can anyone tell me whether or not it its suppose to send HTM on order uodates, and if so any clue as to why mine is not?
