    cart error Issue with shopping_cart.php

    Hello,

My website I am building is LightningCutlery.com, on the shopping cart page (when you have something in your cart) it states:

You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)

Simple enough, problem is I have went and edited that file (includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php) and it remains the same....

I am sure this is a straight forward fix but for the life of me I cannot figure out where else this would be.

When I inspect this element below is what it shows...

    PHP Code:
<div id="cartInstructionsDisplay" class="content">You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)</div
    Thanks in advance,

    Matthew

    Matthew,

I know this may sound stupid...but did you save your changes before reloading the page?

I find myself making changes to php files all the time and then wonder why my code does not work.

Also, you may need to clear your cache or force a full refresh.

    Chris

Many templates, either free or store-bought mistakenly add all files that COULD be customized to their file structure.

When you edit this file, you should save it to the includes/languages/english/pure_aqua/shopping_cart.php

help question Re: Issue with shopping_cart.php

You have a good point lol, but no I checked that and even deleted the one server side then added the edited one. Then redownloaded it and it looks correct but does not show up on the website like that.

Yea I checked that as well, for both shopping_cart.php files in languages/english and in my templates folder are both set with owner full permissions to read and write.

Sometimes, in the heat of the battle, we forget to clear the cache.

I agree, but its not the case this time. I cleared the cache and still the same thing on chrome, IE and firefox...

Anywhere else that could be pulling from?
