Stalling on download page

Hi all

I am setting up downloadable products and every is working great until I log in as a customer to download the test file ordered.

Once I click the download button the webpage goes blank and just stalls there. Tried changing permissions on the download and pub folder.

Any idea what im doing wrong here ? Using v1.3.9h
