Define Pages issue

Ok, I've spent hours searching for the answer to my question, and nothing, so here it goes. I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I can't figure it out.

Define Pages Editor, when working in htmlarea, you can add links with that little insert link button....yesterday I was able to add links just fine but today it has stopped working and will just sit there. The pop-up box won't even close with the close button I have to click on the corner X to get it to close. Have I screwed up some code somewhere? This isn't a major issue, but one that would be more of a convenience for customers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it might be a good idea to install FCKEditor (from the Free Software Add Ons, linked top-left) and then set it in admin to be your editor of choice. Lots of people have said that doing this makes odd problems go away, though I don't know why it does.
