Is it possible to install and configure and test Authorize.net AIM CC processing but not allow customers to pay by CC until we are good and ready??
We have a site SSL cert, I'm waiting to get my Authorize.net account ID/password.
Thank you, Tom

You can't test it until you have your account. So ... no.

I thought it was obvious that I want to do this AFTER I have installed and configured auth.net WITH having acquired an account.
I KNOW it can't be tested until I acquire various accounts and numbers etc.
My question is, after it's installed and configured can it be temporarily HIDDEN from public view until we're ready??
Thank you, Tom
Edit the module and select false as the first option until ready to go live

If you're using the latest v1.3.9 release, yes. Just edit the module's settings and change its status (first setting) to FALSE.
However, some customizations might alter this temporarily to True, making it available despite your setting.
And, in older versions of ZC having modules installed and configured but set to False could cause some unpredictable results with payment handling.
So ... use with caution.
Or ... just write down the settings (there's only 2 important fields) before clicking Remove on the module ... and set them up again later when you're ready to go.

THANK YOU everyone!!
It's a new install of 1.3.9h with 1.3.8 templates carried over, I think I should be good.
Thank you, Tom
